ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The Major Assessment Project assignment is a requirement of this course that each student develops according to an issue identified at their respective provinces; and establish action plans with recommendations for improvement. The program was sponsored by WHO and supported under the Solomon Islands Ministry of Health and Medical Services.
First, I would like to gratefully appreciate the Director of HRDA, Professor Graham Roberts for the vision and wisdom in developing this course and trying to make things meaningful in Solomon Islands context especially accorded to NHSP 2016-2020 and NSD 2016-2035. Thank you very much for your kind understanding towards us in time of hardship we face during the course. I acknowledge you for being very professional and passionate to collaborate with other Emeritus Professors like; Professor Lee Ridoutt and Andrew Carnegie, the FBG Management Consultants. Thank you for all the presentations.
Appreciation is extended to the program core sponsor WHO thru MHMS, the Permanent Secretary and Undersecretary Healthcare and the HR department for steering the program at MHMS level.
The cooperation and support of all leaders in all provinces for identifying their potential students to attend the course, collaboration with the training unit (MHMS) and SINU and for more especially the faculty of Nursing, Medicine and Health Sciences for shaping this course more friendly and culturally motivated.
Finally, I would also like to thank the huge contributions made by other presenters from various Ministries and Departments. More especially for Mr. Dan and Mr. Layton – MHMS, Ministry of Finance & Treasury, SINU School Of Finance and others for great support and contributions to this program.
