Dr Graham Roberts

Director

Graham has significant experience working at high levels in Pacific nations and in Australia, including with Permanent Secretaries and Regional Directors (NSW), writing briefing notes and speeches for Ministers, preparing Cabinet Papers, advising national development committees, and preparing health sector consultancy papers for UN agencies.

BHA, MHA(R), (UNSW), DTPH (USyd), Cert.H.Ed, (UNSW), Ph.D (Med.UNSW)
Graham has had parallel careers in academe and project management.  He has been the Australian Team Leader of 3 development partner projects (PNG and Fiji) and a consultant on others.  He assisted many senior Asian and Pacific Islands Countries’ health executives achieve Master level qualifications through the WHO Regional Teacher Training Centre at UNSW.  Prior to returning to Australia in 2013, Graham was the Director of Research at the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Fiji National University in Suva and had been the Academic Head of the Department of Public Health at Fiji School of Medicine.  Graham is listed on the Register of Local Area Health Boards Members in NSW Health. Graham has multiple publications, conference presentations and program development activities in his c.v. and has served on WHO Regional reviews.
